What We Do
A Few Words
What We Do
We support at-risk communities through initiatives in Healthcare, Child Protection, Sustainable Livelihoods, Youth Empowerment, and Education. Our focus is on providing comprehensive education subsidies to the most vulnerable learners to help them stay in school and achieve their full potential through lifelong learning. We foster sustainable community empowerment by enhancing education, healthcare, household economic stability, skills training, child protection, adolescent sexual reproductive health education, and preventing sexual violence against women and children.Â
Our goal is to ensure children’s safety, address violence when it occurs, and assist survivors in their healing process. Additionally, we aim to increase awareness and understanding of HIV/AIDS prevention by collaborating with families, faith leaders, schools, and various government levels—alongside the children themselves—to create lasting change for every child in every district of Mashonaland Central.

Sustainable Development Goals
The organization employs the Family-Centered Approach (FCA) Model to tackle barriers that impede socio-economic development in marginalized communities. Our initiatives align with four Sustainable Development Goals:

It also aims to prevent sexual violence against women and children. A key theme in these efforts is raising awareness and understanding of HIV/AIDS prevention and control, which serves as a foundational element for all sustainability interventions.

Health and Well-being

This negatively impact their daily lives, and affect their opportunities to realise their full potentials. Our aim is therefore to promote positive mental and physical health for these vulnerable women and girls so that they can contribute to community development efforts which will in turn strengthen their socio-economic well-being.
No More Tears also supports sustainable solutions for maternal and child health, and preventable communicable diseases aligned with SDG 3.
